Annoying Day

So we all know what happened today in New York. I spent 2 hours on the road. Finally I got to work and everyone is already there. Heavy rain shut down most of subway service. It made me to think about Taiwan. I grew up in a land where typhoon always passed by. Summer is always a flooding season. After typhoon, we lived in a wetland. We don't need to go to school. Water are all over the ground. You know kids like water. We step on the water like in this giant swimming pool. How much it would be.

I found that a city had less force of nature. It tended to be more fragile when it comes to this kind of things. Once it happened, we all suffered.

And, I found one little truth. As small as we all are, we all have to go with the flow in most of time. That's sad. We could hardly fight for our right. We paid for ticket. When the train wasn't on time, we have to blame ourselves for being late. It's like in the military. I used to serve in Navy. They said whatever you are late is your fault. You should program better before you go on vacation. What kind of world it is.

Oh well, it's life. At least, we all got on the train and finally got to our destination.

:)

Strange to read this today because Paris got the heavy rain all day long and that is really rare. I think about Taiwan too...
